Black History Month
This year, to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Empire Windrush arriving in the UK, we are holding an event to celebrate the Windrush Generation.
The event is on 24 October between 11am and 2.30pm at:

There will be storytelling, drumming and Afro Caribbean food. Please email involvement@gatewayhousing.org.uk if you would like to attend.
We will also be holding a 'Carnival Competition' for our residents aged between 7 and 15 years old. All entrants should send in a short story, poem or drawing based around the theme of 'Carnival'. All entrants are guaranteed a prize - the winning piece will win a tablet! All entries should be sent to involvement@gatewayhousing.org.uk or can be brought along to the event. Prizes will be awarded on the day.
