We have now enabled an innovative new product on our website called BrowseAloud, to help all our residents access our services.
It offers website access to people with reading difficulties and those who find it easier to listen to, rather than read the content of our website.
BrowseAloud helps people with literacy difficulties, dyslexia, mild visual impairments or where English is spoken as a second language.
To get BrowseAloud and find out more about it, simply click the BrowseAloud icon on our homepage to download the product free of charge.
BrowseAloud is a text-to-speech solution that reads all accessible website content aloud in a high quality human-sounding voice which can be altered to suit the individual’s specific needs. As text is read aloud, words are highlighted to aid literacy and comprehension.
