Short Notice Inspection

The Audit Commission carried out a Short Notice Inspection of Gateway in mid-October 2009.

The inspectors looked at the three following areas:

• Gas safety
• Responsive repairs
• Income management

They also inspected three cross-cutting areas:

• Equality and diversity
• Access for customers
• Value for money.

We will receive a report on how we got on and be asked to respond to this with an improvement plan. We will receive the inspectors' final judgement about how Gateway is doing in January 2010.
