This forum is for our leaseholders and shared owners.
It is very important we consult with all our residents, so this is a very good way of getting to know what issues leaseholders face.
This group will look at strategic issues and those that are specific to leaseholders. Their first project was to oversee the production of a new leaseholders' handbook.

Our commitment to the Leaseholders’ Forum
We will:
* recognise the Leaseholders’ Forum as the main consultative group for all matters affecting leaseholders and shared ownership residents;
* facilitate and fund Forum meetings, including hosting meetings, providing refreshments, writing and circulating papers and following up actions generated from the meetings. Gateway will also provide a dedicated officer to liaise with the Leaseholders’ Forum and make sure that appropriate officers attend meetings where requested (including Directors and Managers);
* consult the Forum and consider members’ views on all matters that affect leaseholders, including (but not limited to): service standards; policies and procedures; and a specific programme of consultation which allows the Forum to fully understand and meaningfully influence Gateway's draft budget in advance of it being agreed each year;
* consider individual or block leaseholder problems at a 'surgery' held immediately before every meeting of the Forum; and
* inform members about matters which will help them as Forum members and provide appropriate training, as necessary.
If you would like to find out more, or become a member of the group, contact the leaseholders' forum on leaseholders@gatewayhousing.org.uk. You can also use this email address to bring an issue to the leaseholders' forum's attention.
Please note: This email address is for general issues or specific items you would like to be discussed at future leaseholders' forum meetings. It is not for individual repairs or complaints.
