Community

Community is at the heart of what we do.

The east London area has a wide range of diverse communities and we seek to engage with everyone we serve.

Through our work we hope to engage with people from all sections of the local area. We want to work with local community groups and residents to create sustainable communities. As well as housing, areas we hope to develop links to include:

• health and wellbeing
• public services
• education
• environment
• art and drama
• gardening
• and much much more.

Our Business and Partnerships team will be creating links with local groups and organisations to further our work in this area.

SPLASH arts - working with children at Constant and Holmsdale House in an after-school club

SPLASH - South Poplar and Limehouse Action for Secure Housing

Stitches in Time - working with women in the Limehouse and Stepney area. We previously commissioned two banners which have pride of place in our office.

Digibridge - working to set up IT projects in our sheltered schemes.

Green Candle dance company - dance projects in sheltered schemes.

St Hilda's East community centre - Sonali Gardens older person's project links to our sheltered housing schemes in the Stepney area.
