Income recovery team

We now have a specialist income recovery team.
Their duties include:
- helping you to pay your rent and service charge on time;
- giving advice and information about what to pay and the ways available for you to pay;
- following our policies and procedures to make sure we receive payment for all home and estate charges, including rents, arrears and recharges;
- contacting you if you owe us rent and helping you to find a way to pay;
- tracing missing payments;
- looking into rent account overpayments and arranging for them to be repaid, if appropriate;
- responding to rent accounts enquiries over the phone, in writing or face to face;
- giving you advice and helping you to get the benefits you are entitled to;
- referring you to a specialist advice agency if you are in financial difficulty;
- recommending that we take legal action, if appropriate;
- keeping you informed of any legal action we are taking against you and
- representing Gateway at court cases and evictions.
