We offer competitive salaries which we benchmark with similar sized organisations in London, using an external service.
Real Living Wage
We are committed to paying the real living wage as a minimum. This is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually which we voluntarily choose to pay.
Performance related Bonus
Following your annual PMR (Annual Performance Management Review), individuals may achieve a bonus up to 5% depending on performance. These payments are not contractual.
Pension
Gateway has appointed The Pensions Trust to provide a pension scheme for all staff members. The scheme is called Social Housing Pension Scheme (SHPS DC).
It is part of the Government’s initiative to automatically enroll eligible staff into a workplace pension. All staff members will be assessed and if eligible will automatically be enrolled.
The pension contribution
Pension contributions from Gateway is capped at a maximum of 10%. You can find out more information on our generous pension scheme here.
Work-Life Balance
We offer a minimum of 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff) and provide the ability to buy and sell up to five leave days. (with your Manager’s approval).
We also have a dedicated Health & Wellbeing space within the office, which is available for staff members to use as needed.

We offer maternity, paternity, adoption, surrogacy and shared parental leave, including fertility and fostering leave, all of which will be available to you from your first day of employment (subject to eligibility).

From the first day of employment, permanent members of staff and fixed term employees are entitled to take advantage of the health and wellbeing membership scheme.
You are free to join any gym, wellbeing or fitness class.
We will reimburse your monthly health & wellbeing membership, up to a maximum £40 per month.
