We are the largest provider of Sheltered Housing in Tower Hamlets, offering secure, comfortable, and joyful homes, while also providing a range of housing and community services to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

Our History  

Since 1926, we’ve grown to manage over 3,000 properties, becoming an important part of our customers’ lives. Our journey began as Bethnal Green Housing Association, with the first scheme at Queen Margaret Flats in 1929. In 2008, Gateway Housing Association was created by merging Bethnal Green and Victoria Park Housing Associations with Labo Housing Association.  
 
At Gateway we understand the difference safe, secure and affordable homes can make to people’s lives. Our vision is to create communities where everyone has a safe home in a place where they’re proud to live.
