FREE gaming sessions in Poplar this half term!🎮
We're teaming up with Esports Youth Club to bring six free gaming sessions to our community centres for young people aged 11 to 18.
Whether you're a Fortnite fan, love football games, or just want to hang out with friends, there's something for everyone.
What can you expect?
- Sessions are free
- Eight PlayStation 5 consoles and popular games including FC27, Fortnite and Roblox
- Snacks provided
- Friendly gaming tournaments with prizes
- A safe, supervised environment
- Meet other local young people and have fun during half-term
The sessions are all about having fun, but they'll also include relaxed conversations with youth workers about topics that matter to young people today, including online safety, social media, AI and healthy gaming habits. Don't worry, there are no classrooms or lectures, just friendly chats woven into the sessions.
When and where are the sessions taking place?
Holmesdale Community Centre, Constant House, Harrow Lane, Poplar, E14 0AT
- Tuesday 27 October, 12pm to 2pm
- Wednesday 28 October, 12pm to 2pm
- Thursday 29 October, 12pm to 2pm (Tournament Day)
Huddlestone Community Centre, Huddlestone Close, Parmiter Street, Poplar, E2 9NR

- Wednesday 28 October, 3pm to 5pm

Who is running the sessions?
The sessions will be delivered by experienced youth workers from Esports Youth Club in a safe and supervised environment. As well as enjoying gaming with friends, young people will receive information to take home to help families have positive conversations about online gaming and staying safe online.
