Estate Services

We want our estates and communal areas to be clean, safe and well maintained for everyone who lives there. 

Cleaning and Communal Areas 
Our caretaking and cleaning teams carry out regular cleaning across communal areas, with schedules agreed for each block or scheme. These services are included within your service charge. 
Cleaning may include:

  • Communal corridors, stairs and landings  
  • Entrance areas (inside and outside)  
  • Internal communal windows  
  • Sweeping of car parks and pathways  
  • Bin stores and bin areas  
  • Other communal areas specific to your block or estate

Grounds Maintenance 

Where your scheme or estate has communal gardens or green spaces, we provide a regular grounds maintenance service to help keep these areas tidy, safe and enjoyable for residents. This service is included within your service charge.

Estate Inspections 

We carry out regular estate inspections every eight weeks to help make sure our estates remain clean, safe and well maintained. 
Inspections are usually carried out by a member of the Resident Services Team alongside a resident representative where possible. 

During inspections, we review areas including: 

  • Car parks and garages  
  • Estate roads, paths and walkways  
  • Bin areas  
  • Entrances and communal doors  
  • Stairs, corridors and landings  
  • Other shared communal areas  

Any issues identified during the inspection are recorded and followed up by the relevant teams. Inspection results and updates may also be displayed on noticeboards within your scheme or block.
