Gateway Residents Choice Awards
As Gateway celebrates 100 years of service, we’d love you to join us in thanking residents who make their (and your) neighbourhood a better place to live.
The Resident Choice Awards recognises the special contribution some of our residents make to our communities. It’s your opportunity to say thank you to residents or tenant groups who have carried out voluntary work to make their (and your) neighbourhood a better place to live.
There are two resident awards, along with a third award for a staff member that residents feel has made an outstanding contribution and achieved great practice that others can learn from in future.
Best Neighbour Award - thanking someone who....
- is there for others and makes your community a better place to live, or
- is good at bringing residents together and/or contributing to the wellbeing of their neighbourhood, or
- has helped Gateway's improvement journey - this could be through providing feedback or ideas; helping to shape decisions, policies or services, through meaningful input.
Community Group Award
· any group that includes a Gateway resident and/or serves Gateway residents, that has made a positive contribution to their community.
Residents First Award
· any member of Gateway staff who you feel has gone the extra mile to deliver great customer service and/or act on resident needs.
Winners will receive a trophy and £100 gift voucher at our centenary event at Tower Hamlets Town Hall on 25 November 2026.
Everyone who is nominated will be invited... and you too - the residents who nominate them. So please, get involved today! Nominations close on 28 October 2026.
The first 20 residents to submit a nomination gets a £20 voucher.
