A mutual exchange is when two or more social housing tenants agree to swap homes.
You must get permission from all landlords involved before moving.
Who can apply?

- You are a secure or assured tenant
- Your rent account is clear or being managed appropriately
- Your property is in good condition
- There are no legal issues affecting your tenancy
Permission may be refused in some circumstances, such as serious tenancy breaches or under-occupation rules.
