A cheerful get-together for residents and stakeholders at Norba Court in Bow

Residents, stakeholders, and colleagues came together on Monday 29th November to celebrate the completion of Norba Court, one of two new buildings in Bow which deliver modern, affordable new homes for residents over 55.

The 46 new homes at Norba Court have been built with careful consideration, incorporating design elements that enable residents to live self-sufficiently in their homes as their needs change over time. Gateway worked closely with experts from the University of Stirling to adopt best practice design, architecture and interior décor principles that will help the residents live independently, for longer, in their home and as part of their community.

Our stakeholders were treated to a private tour of the building and the show flat, organised in a COVID-safe one-way system, and everyone enjoyed complimentary coffee and nibbles. Following the tour, all guests were invited into the residents’ lounge for a warm welcome and introduction to the site by the Gateway team.

"We were really thrilled to welcome everyone to Norba Court, to thank our stakeholders and partners for their support in delivering the scheme and to give all of our new residents the opportunity to meet each other. The team at Gateway take our role in the community very seriously and we are very proud to provide affordable homes to people in East London which really make a difference to people’s lives.” says Kate Franklin, CEO.
