Get up to £294 in energy support with the Fuel Fund

We’re pleased to announce a new round of Fuel Fund support, offering up to six £49 vouchers to help you manage your energy costs.

How it works:

You can receive up to six vouchers (£294 total) over the next 12 months.
You can request three vouchers at a time. After using them—or three months after your first request—you can apply for the remaining three.
Vouchers must be redeemed at a PayPoint store.

Who can apply?

This scheme is for prepayment (PAYGO) meter customers only.
British Gas customers are not eligible as British Gas does not work with PayPoint.

Please note that if you have a smart prepayment meter (who top up online or via an app) are not eligible.

How to apply:

Take a photo of your prepayment meter showing your current balance and email it to incomerecovery@gatewayhousing.org.uk with:

  • Your name and address
  • Contact number
  • Subject line: "Fuel Fund Application 2025"
  • The name of your energy provide

If you can’t email a photo, call us at 0208 709 4300, and our Income Recovery team will guide you through the process.
