Need help with your energy costs?

Gateway Housing Association is pleased to offer a new round of support through the HACT Fuel Fund Scheme 2026.

Eligible customers can receive up to six £49 energy vouchers over a 12-month period to help with gas and electricity costs.

What support is available?

You may be eligible to receive up to £294 in energy vouchers over the next 12 months.

How it works

  • Apply for up to three vouchers initially
  • Once those vouchers have been used, or three months have passed since your first application, you can apply for a further three vouchers
  • Vouchers must be collected from a designated collection point and identification will be required


Who can apply?

To qualify for the scheme, you must:

  • Be a Gateway Housing Association tenant
  • Have a gas and/or electricity pre-payment meter
  • Have a meter balance of £100 or less at the time of application


How to apply

Please email fuelfund@gatewayhousing.org.uk and provide:

  • Your full name
  • Your address
  • A contact telephone number
  • The name of your energy supplier
  • Confirmation that you are a Gateway Housing Association tenant
  • A recent photograph of your pre-payment meter showing your current balance


If you manage your energy account online, please provide a screenshot showing your name and current balance instead.
