Kate Franklin appointed as Chief Executive at Gateway Housing Association

Kate Franklin

Kate Franklin, currently the Chief Operating Officer at CHP, will step into the role at Gateway on 2 August 2021 following the departure of Kate Dodsworth in July to the Regulator of Social Housing.

 

Kate is a highly experienced transformation director, senior marketer and recognised expert in building customer-centred businesses. She has a combination of housing and retail experience which has drawn on her commitment to customer experience and insight. Kate first entered the housing sector in 2008 and has 12 years experience at an executive leadership level with Hyde, One Housing Group and North Herts Homes (now settle) and is currently a non-executive director with MHS Homes.

2. Gateway is a well-established community-based housing association with 3,000 properties primarily in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.  Gateway was formed in 2008 when Bethnal Green and Victoria Park Housing Association merged with Labo Housing Association. Our early formation goes back to 1926 when we began life as Bethnal Green Housing Association. The first scheme at Queen Margaret Flats (still owned and managed by Gateway today) was opened in 1929.
