Last chance to apply for fuel fund support
The Fuel Fund will close on 30 October 2024 , and we are inviting new applications before the deadline. We encourage you to apply for this support if you're facing financial difficulties and have a pre-payment meter.
So far, we've issued over £27,000 worth of vouchers to help our customers manage their energy costs. You could be eligible for up to six £49 vouchers to assist with your bills.
What is the Fuel Fund?
We provide up to six vouchers, each worth £49, to help you avoid the risk of losing your energy supply. You can redeem these vouchers at any PayPoint location to credit your Energy Account.
Who Can Apply?
This fund is for social housing residents with tenancies in England, Scotland, and Wales. To qualify, you must have a pre-payment meter and be behind on your rent.
How to Apply:
Take a photo of your pre-payment meter showing the balance and email it to incomerecovery@gatewayhousing.org.uk.
Remember to include your address, contact number, and the subject line "FUEL FUND 2023/2024".
If you need help emailing the photo, call us at 0208 709 4300 , and our Income Recovery team will guide you through the process.
Important Information:
- Only one application can be made per household in a 12-month period .
- We are currently uncertain whether the fund will continue beyond October 2024, so we strongly recommend submitting your application soon.
