Gateway's Damp and Mould Responsibility

We have all been shocked and horrified by the tragic death of two-year old Awaab Ishak in Rochdale, due to mould in his home. This incident highlights the seriousness of damp and mould, which cannot be overlooked. Gateway believe that no one should have to live in conditions that affect their health, and that as a social landlord, it is our responsibility to make sure our homes are safe and sustainable.

Gateway's Response to Regulatory Downgrade

The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) has today confirmed Gateway Housing Association a G1 governance grade following the annual stability check, but downgraded Gateway’s viability rating from V1 to V2. Gateway continues to be fully compliant with the regulations.
