Age UK - Tower Hamlets Handyperson Service
Did you know that Age UK - East London offers a Handyman service to Older People within Tower Hamlets?
The scheme is funded by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, aimed at promoting independence.

Residents of Tower Hamlets are entitled to 2 visits per year which are fully funded by LBTH. In a household with more than one eligible person, 3 visits per year will be available. Each visit lasts approximately 2 hours.
The service includes:
- Home Security checks
- Accident Prevention Checks
- General Handyperson tasks e.g. fitting of shelves, fitting a washing machine to existing pipework, changing lightbulbs etc.
- Garden tidy
Please note: This service does not include home internal and external painting & decorating window cleaning or cutting down trees.
