Community Investment Strategy 2021-24 Launch

Our Community Investment Strategy 2021-24 contributes to our corporate strategy by delivering on ‘supporting communities to thrive’. It recognizes that social housing, how we provide services, and the needs of our communities are changing. We acknowledge that we need to learn more about who lives in our homes and engage with residents to serve their needs better. By listening to residents and acting on their views, we hope to sustain partnerships that meet residents needs, raise awareness, and empower residents to deliver community-led initiatives. We want to embody trust, quality, and performance, so as well as working with residents, we’ll work with recognized partners to seek accreditation for our services.

Community Investment Strategy Launch

As part of the launch of our Community Investment Strategy launch, we are hosting a series of events and free online workshops starting Monday 25 October 2021 – Friday 5 November 2021.

Nariscia Sherman, Community Investment Coordinator, Gateway Housing said “ Since joining Gateway in October 2020, it has been great being able to meet with so many residents. Most of our events have been online, but we’ve still been able to deliver employment and training sessions, as well as health and well-being workshops including domestic abuse awareness.

We have some great events taking place over the next few months, so do look out for updates from us, including our new ‘Your East’ newsletter that will keep you up to date with all the latest training, employment, and social activities from Gateway Housing and its partners in your area.”
