Gateway Housing welcomes David Done OBE as new chair
Gateway Housing Association, a community housing association in East London, is pleased to announce that David Done OBE will be joining the organisation as its new Chair from 29 May 2023. The appointment of David Done comes as the association continues its mission to support communities to thrive and deliver excellent services as it continues to improve satisfaction levels amongst residents.
David has a distinguished career in the housing industry, spanning 38 years. He began his career working with homeless charities in London and Bristol and has since held various senior-level positions with five local authorities. He most recently served as Group CEO of RHP, an award-winning housing association group in West London. During his tenure, the organisation was known for its innovation, modernisation of homes and services using digital technology, and for being an inspirational place to work, holding the prestigious platinum level of Investors in People (IIP).
David Done is also an experienced non-executive director, sitting on the boards of two other housing associations and a commercial company delivering technology solutions to the sector. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Gateway Housing Association, and he is looking forward to working with the CEO Kate Franklin and the Board to strengthen the organisation's role as a community-based housing association in East London.
