How our Gateway2Excellence Programme is helping us to improve our service offering in challenging times

The cost of living crisis has affected every household in the UK. We understand how difficult the last few months have been for many customers. As a not-for-profit housing provider, we are navigating the crisis by managing our budgets, alongside increasing costs, as we develop and improve our service offering to the communities that we serve.

Gateway is dependent on rental income to keep investing in our homes at a time the costs of repairs and maintenance have escalated. We must also make further investment to meet the challenges of climate change, and to ensure our homes remain safe and secure to live in, as we continue to provide much-needed new build homes to help reduce the housing crisis.

Would you like to have your say and help us to shape the future of your community?

We are committed to working jointly with customers to achieve value for money to cover all the increased costs. Our Gateway2Excellence Programme (G2E) is enabling us to deliver a variety of customer focused projects, which are designed to improve efficiency and value for money as we develop our customer engagement to help shape services in many of the programme's projects.

One such example is our Resident Engagement that has been refreshed post Covid-19. Our Resident Scrutiny Panel (RSP) has been re-launched with the objective to provide customer insight and scrutiny of the performance, customer outcomes, and value for money of our service delivery. We welcome views and opinions on how our services can best serve the diverse needs of all customers in the community.

If you would like to know more about how you can get involved with shaping the future of your community through resident engagement, and what opportunities are available to take part, please visit our website’s Resident Engagement pages.
