Our Residents' Fair was a great day out for all

We were delighted to welcome our residents to Queen Mary University on the last Saturday in July. Those that joined us, in spite of the rain, took part in a consultation on the development of Gateway’s strategy for 2020-2025. Residents were invited to share their views on what they wanted Gateway to feel like and be known for by 2025. Their answers will help form the priorities for our next five year plan, ensuring we put residents’ views at the heart of our strategy.

Highlights from the day included the Gateway Wailers choir, a roving magician, and a residents’ raffle, entertaining the grownups. Of course there was plenty for residents of all ages with children’s games, a drawing competition, and DJ lessons just some of the fun activities on offer.

From our evaluation survey we’re delighted to report that 98% of residents thought the day was excellent or good! The results of the survey suggest that the activities we laid on were a success as everyone wanted more for next year.

We're particularly thankful to our sponsors for the event Tower Hamlets, FFT, Salvus, Capsticks, Arun, Acanthus, SEA Ltd and Thermoserve for supporting us to deliver such an enjoyable day.
